Head Pickleball Professional, Racquet Sports Program
Overview
Own the pickleball program for a large family club with seasonal demand and year-round community. Lead scheduling, events, teaching and curriculum under the Director of Racquet Sports. Collaborate with Tennis and Racquet Sports teams to growth, marketing and merchandising. This role combines program leadership, coaching, and event management in a welcoming environment.
What You'll Do10
- 1Design and implement pickleball programming including clinics, private and group lessons, and curricula
- 2Schedule events, interclub communication, and monthly gatherings to grow participation
- 3Lead marketing and communications for the pickleball program including social media content
- 4Supervise and mentor coaches and captains, ensuring high-quality instruction and client satisfaction
- 5Support merchandising in the Racquets Shop and maintain facility readiness
- 6Collaborate with Assistant Director of Tennis on cross-program drills and clinics
- 7Contribute to newsletters and club communications to promote events and programs
- 8Assist with fundraising, referrals and junior programs as needed
- 9Deliver a safe and enjoyable environment through adherence to club policies and safety standards
- 10Track participation metrics and program revenue to inform planning
Requirements5
- 1Certification with the RSPA preferred and must be achieved within the first year
- 2Competitive pickleball player with a 4.5+ rating
- 3Two to three years of teaching or supervisory experience in pickleball
- 4Ability to promote and teach private and group lessons to juniors and adults
- 5Strong communication and event coordination skills
