Head of Platform & Tools Global Payments Liquidity Implementation
Overview
Wells Fargo seeks a leader to own GPL Implementation platform and tools strategy. This role defines and executes multi-year roadmap for systems workflow tools digital intake fulfillment capabilities reporting dashboards and enablement solutions. Partner with Technology Engineering AI teams and cross-functional leaders to align technology investments with business outcomes. Drive AI transformation simplify end-to-end implementation modernize workflows improve transparency and foster high-performing teams.
What You'll Do11
- 1Own the GPL Implementation platform and tools strategy define prioritize execute multi-year roadmap for systems workflow tools digital intake fulfillment capabilities reporting dashboards and enablement solutions
- 2Lead end-to-end technology enablement partner with Technology Engineering translate business needs into scalable technology solutions ensure clear requirements strong prioritization effective delivery routines and disciplined management of dependencies risks and tradeoffs
- 3Drive AI-enabled transformation collaborate with AI teams identify design pilot and scale AI use cases reduce manual work improve implementation quality enhance colleague productivity strengthen controls and create intuitive experience for clients and internal users
- 4Modernize implementation workflows simplify and automate end-to-end implementation process including intake product configuration documentation client communication testing readiness activation exception management and post-implementation reporting
- 5Improve transparency and performance management build operational reporting KPIs dashboards and analytics providing real-time visibility into pipeline status bottlenecks aging cycle time quality productivity and client outcomes
- 6Partner across Product Digital Service and Operations ensure platform and tool development aligns with product roadmaps digital channel strategies servicing models operational readiness business controls and client experience priorities
- 7Strengthen governance and controls embed risk compliance data quality auditability and control requirements into tools and workflows from the outset ensuring consistent well governed scalable processes across GPL products and client segments
- 8Manage delivery discipline and investment prioritization establish clear routines for roadmap prioritization delivery tracking issue escalation benefits realization and resource planning focusing on highest impact client and business outcomes
- 9Create world-class user experience champion intuitive experiences reduce friction improve self-service and transparency support faster implementation across simple core complex and specialty products
- 10Lead and develop talent build manage and inspire high-performing team with product platform analytics business architecture process improvement and transformation skills
- 11Serve as strategic partner to Head of GPL Sales Support and Implementation Product Leaders translating complex issues into clear decisions executive-ready recommendations and practical execution plans
Requirements13
- 110+ years of Business Execution Implementation or Strategic Planning experience including Management or leadership experience or equivalent experience via work training military education
- 24+ years of management or leadership experience
- 3Experience leading platform tools workflow or digital transformation initiatives in complex matrixed environments
- 4Strong understanding of end-to-end client lifecycle processes including onboarding implementation servicing product activation readiness and reporting
- 5Proven ability to partner with Technology Engineering teams to shape roadmaps define requirements manage delivery and resolve complex dependencies
- 6Experience identifying and scaling automation AI analytics or digital workflow capabilities to improve business outcomes
- 7Strong executive presence ability to influence senior stakeholders communicate complex issues clearly and drive alignment across business and technology teams
- 8Track record of building high-performing teams and leading through ambiguity change and transformation
- 9Strong risk control and governance mindset embedding requirements into business processes and technology solutions
- 10Desired qualifications 10+ years in payments treasury management implementation operations product management digital transformation technology enablement or related field
- 11Demonstrated experience leading platform tools workflow or digital transformation initiatives in a complex matrixed environment
- 12Strong understanding of payments treasury management implementation operations product management digital transformation or related fields
- 13Proven ability to partner with Technology Engineering teams to shape roadmaps define requirements manage delivery and resolve complex dependencies
