- 5Own architecture and reliability of underwriting decisioning submission approval funding and payments processing systems
- 6Set enforce engineering standards for security compliance and auditability in regulated lending environment
- 7Champion modern engineering practices including AI-assisted and agentic development workflows
- 8Partner with Product Risk Compliance and Operations to align engineering delivery with contractor-facing outcomes
- 9Deliver initiatives across multiple services teams balancing speed risk and system stability
- 10Track KPIs financing payments transaction volume submission-to-close conversion and fraud delinquency risk metrics
- 11Manage technical debt and platform scalability as transaction volume grows
- 12Establish operating rigor on-call incident response and SLAs for production systems
- 13Drive CI/CD observability and deployment automation across Financing & Payments service estate
Requirements8
- 110+ years engineering experience including 5+ years technical leadership managing managers and cross-functional teams
- 2Proven track record leading engineering for complex regulated fintech lending or payments platforms
- 3Deep experience with distributed event-driven microservices architectures supporting high-volume transactional systems
- 4Strong background with underwriting decisioning loan origination servicing pipelines or payments processing infrastructure
- 5Cloud-native architecture expertise AWS or equivalent API design modern CI/CD practices
- 6Excellent stakeholder management communication skills across Product Risk and Compliance
- 7Nice to have experience point-of-sale financing home improvement solar lending or contractor-facing fintech
- 8Background scaling platform team from single product line into broader organization
