Overview
You will collect and transport medical waste and sharps containers for Daniels Health on local healthcare routes in the Denver, CO area. Operating Class B box trucks up to 26', you will ensure safe, compliant, and timely service to hospitals and clinics. Your work supports infection control and environmental safety every day. This role offers $28/hour, a $3k sign-on bonus, and stable 4x10 daytime shifts.
What You'll Do7
- 1Collect, transport, and store medical waste and sharps containers on assigned local routes.
- 2Operate company vehicles up to 26' box trucks with a Class B hazmat endorsement.
- 3Complete deliveries on schedule and communicate route changes or issues promptly.
- 4Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to maintain DOT compliance.
- 5Load and unload containers throughout the day, including heavy lifting.
- 6Build positive relationships with healthcare customers through professional service.
- 7Maintain accurate logs and handle roadside inspections confidently.
Requirements8
- 1Valid Class B license or clean driving record with DOT medical card.
- 2Hazmat endorsement or willingness to obtain within 90 days.
- 3Experience operating vehicles up to 26' box trucks.
- 4Familiarity with DOT compliance, logging hours, and roadside inspections.
- 5Confidence completing Level 1–3 DOT road checks.
- 6Strong work ethic, reliability, and proven tenure with past employers.
