Class B CDL Hazmat Driver (InSite Driver)
Overview
Clean Harbors seeks a Class B CDL Driver (InSite Driver) to transport hazardous and non‑hazardous waste safely on‑site and off‑site. You will operate company vehicles, load unload and comply with DOT and hazardous waste regulations. This role offers competitive pay $26.00‑$32.50 hourly DOE plus benefits and growth opportunities.
What You'll Do9
- 1Safely operate tank van and roll‑off vehicles to transport hazardous and non‑hazardous waste adhering to DOT and company policies
- 2Verify liquid compatibility check container integrity and follow weight limits and drum segregation rules
- 3Complete daily logs vehicle inspection reports and dispatch reports as required
- 4Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance cleaning of assigned equipment
- 5Communicate schedules and equipment needs to site leadership and coordinators
- 6Follow environmental health safety and operating procedures
- 7Travel over 75 percent of shift time as required by customers and routes
- 8Complete Clean Harbors New Driver Training Program and required regulatory trainings
- 9Maintain clean driving record with no major violations and demonstrate mechanical aptitude
Requirements8
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 2Hazmat endorsement and Class B CDL required
- 3High school diploma or equivalent
- 4Valid driver’s license with clean record no more than two moving violations in three years
- 5Ability to lift up to 100 pounds in certain situations
- 6Near and far visual acuity hearing and color vision within standards
- 7Willingness to work independently with minimal supervision
- 8Strong communication and teamwork skills
