Overview

You own overnight safety and guest experience at a Los Angeles recuperative care facility, responding to incidents and leading a team of Guest Services Associates. You report to the Director of Recuperative Care and work with Social Services and Nursing on a secure, supportive environment. The role combines guest engagement with emergency response, including fire drills and lockdowns. Shift is 9:00 PM - 5:30 AM, with a pay range of $21.00-$22.00 per hour. You set the tone for hospitality and safety, training new staff and enforcing trauma-informed protocols.

What You'll Do10

  • 1Collaborate with the Operations Manager to schedule Guest Services Associates for overnight shift coverage.
  • 2Lead guest engagement initiatives, delegating tasks and completing shift assignment sheets.
  • 3Conduct shift meetings to share daily objectives, staff needs, and critical guest information.
  • 4Coach and train new GSA team members, providing feedback and supporting onboarding.
  • 5Respond to safety or security incidents, performing facility patrols and reporting hazards to the Operations Manager.
  • 6Lead emergency evacuations and drills, including fire, severe weather, and lockdown procedures.
  • 7Enforce visitor protocols and monitor restricted area access, applying trauma-informed conflict de-escalation.
  • 8Document all safety incidents and shift logs, submitting reports per policy.
  • 9Support daily operations by performing general GSA duties and assisting with administrative tasks.
  • 10Complete shift handoff documentation and attend team meetings, maintaining flexibility for additional shifts.

Requirements8

  • 1High school diploma or equivalent; some college in hospitality, social services, or public safety preferred.
  • 23+ years in guest services, security, or related field.
  • 3Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to stay calm under pressure.
  • 4Experience with conflict resolution and trauma-informed care.
  • 5Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and electronic documentation systems.
  • 6Must pass background check, LIVE scan, and TB test.
  • 7Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • 8Flexibility to work nights and additional shifts as needed.
