Group Reservations Coordinator Loews Hotels
Overview
The Group Reservations Coordinator owns the processing of all contracted group room blocks and represents the Loews Hotels brand. This role engages and delights group contacts while ensuring all contractual and operational needs are met. It requires strong communication skills and the ability to manage complex group bookings.
What You'll Do20
- 1Review Group turnovers from Sales Managers and make necessary adjustments
- 2Assign proper rooms as per contract and/or rooming list
- 3Verify group rates and put in sell messages for all groups
- 4Enforce cutoff dates professionally and create group landing pages when needed
- 5Communicate all special group needs to the CRO and Nor1
- 6Provide technical assistance to group contacts regarding booking capabilities
- 7Forward all group rooming lists to CRO for data entry into ORS
- 8Utilize interpersonal skills to resolve room block issues and cut-off dates
- 9Anticipate group needs and alert clients about sold out dates
- 10Process all work accurately and send cutoff dates and billing information
- 11Produce weekly pick-up reports and update distribution
- 12Complete post convention reports and distribute to Event Manager
- 13Participate in pick-up, resume and pre-con events as required
- 14Understand attrition impact on group yield and alert managers
- 15Send rooming lists to clients and review group resumes
- 16Maintain organized group filing system
- 17Track group pick-up performance for future reference
- 18Oversee suite reservations and provide copies to Front Office
- 19Perform physical and mental effort tasks as needed
- 20Attend all training sessions and meet schedule requirements
Requirements10
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 23-5 seasons of hospitality experience
- 3High School Diploma
- 4Excellent written and oral English communication skills
- 5Opera knowledge preferred and basic MS office software
- 6Knowledge of a second language is an asset
- 7Ability to type 25 wpm
- 8Customer service orientation and hospitality skills
- 9Organization and prioritization abilities
- 10Previous reservations or front desk experience preferred
