Overview
Draper seeks a Group Leader to lead System Level Electromechanical Integration Test 2 at Charles Stark Draper Laboratory Boston. What You'll Do9
- 1Plan and execute integration and testing activities spanning development acceptance verification and qualification
- 2Mentor and develop a team of 15-20 engineers with expertise in electromechanical systems
- 3Collaborate with internal groups customers and external partners to define requirements and drive designs
- 4Oversee hardware software cabling and documentation for integrated systems
- 5Analyze Draper strategy to identify capability gaps and expand technology offerings
- 6Maintain staff development through performance reviews and career growth initiatives
- 7Manage administrative duties and coordinate hiring processes for technical roles
- 8Serve as technical subject matter expert guiding project execution and R&D activities
- 9Promote cross-functional teamwork between engineering groups and program offices
Requirements9
- 15+ years experience in engineering design and management of complex systems
- 2Proven leadership of technical teams with demonstrated ability to conduct performance evaluations
- 3Strong communication skills for technical presentations and stakeholder engagement
- 4Expertise in automation tools such as Python AWS React Kubernetes
- 5Certification including CPC Card BCBA or AWS Certified credentials
- 6Background in system-level electromechanical integration and test methodologies
- 7Relevant government security clearance required
- 8Education in engineering or related field with graduate level specialization
- 9Understanding of federal acquisition regulations and program management practices
