As a Greenskeeper at Arcis Golf, you will own the daily maintenance of the golf course at David L. Baker Golf Course in Fountain Valley, CA. What You'll Do10
- 1Mow greens, tees, aprons, and approaches to greens using reel mowers and rotary mowers.
- 2Trim and edge bunkers, cart paths, and fence lines to maintain course boundaries and aesthetics.
- 3Change holes daily, moving cups and flags to distribute wear.
- 4Top dress tees and greens with sand to improve turf health and playability.
- 5Treat turf for weeds, pests, and diseases using sprayers and spreaders.
- 6Maintain bunkers by raking, edging, and replacing sand as needed.
- 7Operate golf course equipment including tractors, utility vehicles, and aerators.
- 8Perform hedge trimming and general landscape maintenance around the clubhouse and course.
- 9Assist with course setup for tournaments and daily play, including moving tees and pins.
- 10Inspect course conditions daily and report any issues to the golf course superintendent.
Requirements8
- 11+ year experience in golf course maintenance or a related field.
- 2Valid driver's license and ability to operate golf carts and utility vehicles.
- 3Knowledge of turf grass types and mowing practices.
- 4Ability to lift 50 pounds and work in outdoor weather conditions.
- 5High school diploma or equivalent.
- 6Customer service experience and a willingness to learn.
- 7Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- 8Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.
