Grant & Compliance Administrator
Overview
You will manage the full grant cycle for transit-related projects, from application to closeout, across the state's fiscal year. You will ensure compliance with FTA and state regulations, coordinate with project managers, and use TrAMS and CPAS to track awards. Your work supports the region's public transit infrastructure, with a focus on accurate reporting and audit-ready records. This role offers direct exposure to federal funding processes and cross-departmental collaboration.
What You'll Do10
- 1Manage grant applications for transit projects throughout the fiscal year cycle.
- 2Ensure compliance with federal and state transportation funding regulations, including FTA requirements.
- 3Coordinate with project managers and internal departments to collect grant-related information and documentation.
- 4Navigate TrAMS and CPAS for grant awards, finance memos, and funding activities.
- 5Establish funding structures in CPAS as new funding becomes available.
- 6Maintain and update the STIP database for grant modifications and obligations.
- 7Monitor fund allocations and prepare grant revisions and amendments.
- 8Prepare and submit quarterly federal financial reports.
- 9Monitor compliance for fixed assets and grant-funded programs.
- 10Maintain accurate grant records and supporting documentation.
Requirements5
- 1Experience in grant administration, compliance monitoring, and financial reporting.
- 2Knowledge of federal and state grant regulations and funding processes.
- 3Experience in a transit, transportation, or public sector environment preferred.
- 4Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- 5Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
