Global Security Manager, Corporate Facilities & Life Safety
Overview
You will own security and life safety for Lowe's Store Support Centers and Corporate Data Centers, supervising onsite contract security officers. You will manage the security contract, conduct initial investigations of criminal activity and misconduct, and serve on the Threat Assessment Team. You will coordinate fire evacuation plans, badge access through DNA, and liaise with fire, police, and EMS. This role requires 10+ years in law enforcement or security management and offers the chance to impact a FORTUNE 100 company's safety posture.
What You'll Do10
- 1Manage the security contract and supervise onsite contract security officers and supervisors at SSCs and CDCs.
- 2Drive initial investigations of criminal activity, accidents, and misconduct, reporting findings to the Senior Director and local law enforcement as required.
- 3Serve on the Threat Assessment Team, conducting initial threat assessments at corporate facilities.
- 4Coordinate fire evacuation plans, executing semi-annual fire drills and training sessions.
- 5Administer the DNA badge access system, issuing badges and preparing SOX compliance reports for the Audit Department.
- 6Support special events and large visitor groups by coordinating security assistance.
- 7Disseminate security and safety information to employees and contractors through handouts, LowesNet, orientation, and lunch-and-learn sessions.
- 8Assist the Executive Protection team for Board and ELT events, including travel when needed.
- 9Support the Global Security Operations Center and Asset Protection in critical information sharing.
- 10Enforce policies and procedures at corporate locations and offsite functions.
Requirements9
- 110+ years in law enforcement, military, or security field
- 210+ years managing and leading security teams
- 310+ years in security operations: guard management, access control, surveillance systems
- 410+ years in risk assessment and threat mitigation
- 510+ years demonstrated knowledge of criminal law and procedure
- 6Associate's degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management, Homeland Security, or Business Administration
- 7Current and valid driver's license and passport
- 8Experience liaising with local, federal, and state law enforcement agencies preferred
- 9CPP or PSP certification preferred
