General Service Technician, automotive shop & benefits
Overview
Own non technical automotive service repairs including oil changes and tire services at a high quality shop under Sun Auto Network. Work involves customer interactions driving customers and transporting parts while maintaining a clean shop. The role emphasizes safety, inspection documentation and basic vehicle condition reporting.
What You'll Do10
- 1Build tire mounting dismounting and balance operations to ensure safe road readiness
- 2Perform oil changes and basic services under supervision while noting vehicle conditions
- 3Document vehicle condition using Multi-point Inspection or Repair Order
- 4Maintain shop cleanliness including service area and tire racks and showroom
- 5Safely transport customers and parts using company vehicle
- 6Pick up parts tires supplies from vendors and corporate office
- 7Operate company vehicle in a safe and courteous manner
- 8Conduct State Safety and Emission Inspections following guidelines
- 9Follow safety procedures and report concerns to supervisors
- 10Adhere to company policies and handbook
Requirements10
- 1High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2Valid driver’s license
- 318 years old or older
- 4State Inspector License current or ability to obtain within 30 days
- 5Under hood and under carriage understanding
- 6Able to work Monday to Saturday
- 7Ability to meet physical demands including standing lifting and bending
- 8Must be able to operate in environments with noise dust fumes and heat/cold
