What You'll Do11
- 1Sort and organize scaffold materials in the yard to ensure safe and efficient access for field crews
- 2Load and unload company trucks with scaffold components for carpenters and forepersons
- 3Take inventory of scaffold materials in the yard and help maintain accurate stock levels
- 4Station and retrieve equipment on the property in accordance with yard procedures
- 5Support daily setup of job sites by moving materials around the site and staging equipment
- 6Assist in building and erecting scaffolding structures under the direction of experienced scaffold builders and forepersons
- 7Help dismantle scaffolding at project ends ensuring components are safely removed and returned to the yard
- 8Use hand tools including hammers and tape measures to assemble and secure scaffold units
- 9Load company trucks at job sites with dismantled scaffold materials for return to the yard
- 10Travel across the Charlotte area to various commercial construction and industrial job sites as part of the scaffold team
- 11Follow all safety procedures including harness use up to 10 feet initially and greater heights after certification
Requirements11
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 2Ability to perform general labor tasks including heavy lifting and manual material handling
- 3Comfort working outside on construction sites and in large open yards
- 4Experience using basic hand tools such as hammers and tape measures
- 5Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn scaffold building and construction practices
- 6Capacity to work safely around construction carpentry framing roofing landscaping demolition activities
- 7Ability to travel regularly across the Charlotte area to different job sites
- 8Reliability and strong work ethic
- 9Physical stamina to work in outdoor conditions
- 10Hands-on experience with hand tools or power tools
- 11Interest in developing skills as a scaffold carpenter and pursuing certification
