Overview
Lead installation of architectural sheet metal and exterior envelope systems for Aerotek in Kansas City. Work at heights using scissor lifts and forklifts. What You'll Do11
- 1Install sheet metal flashing and trim according to blueprints and project specifications
- 2Mount metal wall and roof panels as part of exterior building envelope systems
- 3Apply exterior wall cladding soffit panels and architectural metal components
- 4Support installation of translucent and composite wall systems
- 5Fasten waterproofing and air barrier systems for weather-tight performance
- 6Set up fiber cement siding and fiberglass sandwich panels per requirements
- 7Utilize hand and power tools safely during fabrication and installation
- 8Operate forklifts and scissor lifts to access elevated work areas
- 9Perform basic welding tasks and assist with fabrication when needed
- 10Interpret technical drawings to execute precise installations
- 11Maintain tools and workspace while adhering to safety protocols
Requirements8
- 15+ years installing architectural sheet metal with Spark and Airflow
- 2OSHA certification preferred but not required
- 3Ability to work at heights above 20 degrees Fahrenheit
- 4Proven experience with waterproofing and air barrier systems
- 5Willingness to learn welding techniques or complete training
- 6Physical stamina for outdoor work in varied climates
- 7Strong commitment to safety and PPE compliance
- 8Reliable transportation for onsite work schedules
