Overview

Lead and scale genCLEO campus chapters across the Southeast while driving climate advocacy initiatives. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on organizing to empower youth. You will direct a team of part-time organizers and shape CLEO's expansion to 19 chapters by 2026.

What You'll Do11

  • 1Manage a team of Lead Organizers and Interns comprising 70% of staff
  • 2Direct growth and expansion of genCLEO through membership development and engagement
  • 3Conduct training sessions on data management coalition building and campaign planning
  • 4Coordinate major programs including advocacy days and Earth Advocacy Day recruitment
  • 5Travel to campuses quarterly to support organizing efforts and chapter development
  • 6Ensure accurate data entry and event tracking using EveryAction and Google Forms
  • 7Create content strategies and manage distribution across digital platforms
  • 8Maintain compliance with organizational policies and employee handbook requirements
  • 9Oversee RSO status maintenance and resource allocation for campus operations
  • 10Drive fundraising initiatives aligned with CLEO's annual events like Give Miami Day
  • 11Foster partnerships with university staff and community organizations

  • 15+ years building youth-led movements with Spark and Airflow experience
  • 23-5 seasons leading nonprofit teams in dynamic environments
  • 3CPC Card certification preferred for professional credibility
  • 4AWS Certified relevant to cloud infrastructure projects
  • 5BCBA credential valuable for leadership development roles
  • 65+ years designing and executing large-scale organizational strategies
