- 2Lead students in mastering funeral service fundamentals while adhering to ethical standards and regulatory compliance

- 4Conduct assessments and provide feedback to enhance student learning outcomes
- 5Participate in faculty governance and committee activities focused on educational quality and student success

Requirements11
- 1Bachelor’s degree or higher with two years of professional experience OR Associate degree plus six years experience
- 2Direct experience teaching funeral service education subjects such as directing merchandising counseling management law and ethics embalming
- 3Ability to demonstrate technical skills in embalming restoration art arrangement conferences and burial procedures
- 4Strong communication skills for delivering content and conducting research in funeral service contexts
- 5Commitment to equity responsiveness and inclusivity for diverse student populations
- 6Valid certification such as CPC Card BCBA or AWS Certified relevant to funeral service education
- 7Experience with public health safety regulations and legal compliance for handling human remains
- 8Familiarity with accreditation standards set by the American Board of Funeral Service Education
- 9Ability to work flexible schedules including classroom online and hybrid formats
- 10Willingness to engage in campus-based teaching assignments across multiple settings
