Funeral Director
Overview
Hillside Memorial Park and Mortuary seeks a compassionate Funeral Director to lead services in Los Angeles. The role involves managing funeral ceremonies and maintaining facility cleanliness. This position requires a license and offers competitive pay.
What You'll Do7
- 1Conduct funeral and memorial services from setup to completion
- 2Arrange flowers chapels programs music selections caskets and wait on families
- 3Process financial payments for outstanding balances
- 4Collaborate with mortuary secretaries chapel attendants assistant directors and counselors
- 5Maintain facility cleanliness through vacuuming emptying trash dusting and other tasks
- 6Obtain funeral director license if not already certified
- 7Work Monday through Friday with occasional weekend rotations
Requirements7
- 1Minimum 2 years funeral directing experience
- 2Valid driver’s license preferred
- 3Pass background check and physical exam
- 4Ability to lift 20 pounds
- 5Strong communication and problem solving skills
- 6Compassionate demeanor and adherence to core values

Salary Insight
$46 - $54k per year
