Overview
You will own merchandising, cashiering, and store cleanliness at an ALDI location in Baltimore, Maryland. What You'll Do9
- 1Model customer service principles and escalate concerns to store management.
- 2Use the POS system to scan and process purchases accurately, reporting scanning errors.
- 3Stock shelves and displays following planograms to maximize sales.
- 4Complete curbside pickup orders by retrieving items, verifying contents, and delivering to vehicles.
- 5Maintain zone and merchandising standards at all times.
- 6Assist store management in achieving operational efficiency and total loss goals.
- 7Adhere to cash policies and inventory procedures, including handling damaged products.
- 8Perform general cleaning tasks and ensure a safe environment by rectifying hazards.
- 9Operate equipment such as cash registers, floor scrubber, cardboard baler, and pallet jacks.
Requirements10
- 118+ years old.
- 2High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- 3Prior retail experience preferred.
- 4Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
- 5Ability to operate store equipment, including handheld devices and computers.
- 6Ability to interpret and apply ALDI operating policies.
- 7Ability to perform basic arithmetic: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division.
- 8Ability to lift and carry product up to 45 pounds at various heights, including overhead.
- 9Ability to work in varying temperatures, including freezer and cooler environments.
- 10Ability to work independently and with others, and maintain reliable attendance.
