What You'll Do10
- 1Model customer service principles and escalate concerns to store management
- 2Operate the POS system to scan and process purchases accurately
- 3Complete curbside pickup orders by retrieving items and delivering to vehicles
- 4Stock shelves and displays per planograms to maximize sales
- 5Adhere to cash policies, inventory procedures, and product handling guidelines
- 6Maintain store zone and merchandising standards at all times
- 7Perform general cleaning tasks to company standards
- 8Identify and rectify hazards to ensure a safe working environment
- 9Operate equipment like hand jacks, floor scrubber, and cardboard baler
- 10Follow the line policy and open additional check lanes as needed
Requirements10
- 1At least 18 years old
- 2Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
- 3Ability to operate store equipment including POS, hand jacks, floor scrubber, cardboard baler, and handheld devices
- 4Ability to interpret and apply ALDI operating policies and procedures
- 5Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally
- 6Ability to perform basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
- 7Ability to lift and carry products weighing up to 45 pounds and stock at various heights
- 8Ability to work in varying temperatures including freezer and cooler environments
- 9Ability to arrive to work as early as 5:00am for stocking shifts
- 10High school diploma or equivalent preferred
