Full Stack FinOps Consultant, Cloud Cost Management & Data Pipelines
Overview
Own end-to-end cloud financial management and on prem infrastructure stewardship at scale for multi-cloud environments. You will build data pipelines, configure FinOps platforms, and deliver dashboards that provide complete visibility across the technology estate. You will partner with architects, engineers, and financial analysts to transform how clients govern and optimize cloud spend. This role blends hands-on coding with strategic financial governance to drive measurable savings.
What You'll Do10
- 1Build and maintain cost and usage data pipelines for AWS Azure and GCP and integrate on prem sources like VMware Nutanix SAN NAS storage arrays network telemetry and enterprise databases
- 2Configure FinOps platforms and BI dashboards for multi-domain cost visibility and governance
- 3Perform detailed analysis of cloud and on prem workloads identify rightsizing reserved instance and autoscaling opportunities
- 4Execute optimization tactics for datacenter consolidation private cloud capacity planning storage tiering and database performance tuning
- 5Document realized savings and provide actionable recommendations to client stakeholders
- 6Develop baseline forecasts and scenario models for cloud and full stack technologies monitor variances and update dashboards
- 7Support tagging remediation and allocation rules for accurate showback and chargeback
- 8Apply cost governance standards in CI CD pipelines and architecture reviews ensure tagging and anomaly detection policies
- 9Prepare clear reports and dashboards present findings to client leads and participate in governance workshops
- 10Travel may be required depending on business needs and client requirements
Requirements5
- 1Minimum of 3 years of FinOps or cloud financial management experience
- 2Hands-on exposure to datacenter private cloud storage network and database technologies with at least 1 year
- 3Experience with BI tools like Power BI Tableau or equivalent
- 4Bachelor's degree in Computer Science IT Engineering Finance or Business or related field or equivalent experience
- 5FinOps certified practitioner or CSP cloud certifications preferred
Salary Insight
$59 - $196k per year
