FinOps AI / ML Engineer Assoc Director, Cloud Economics & Automation
Overview
Lead multi cloud FinOps automation at scale across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud with agentic AI architectures. Own target architecture for agentic AI in FinOps, policy as code, and IaC guardrails. Collaborate with architects, engineers, financial analysts, and delivery teams to deliver measurable cloud cost savings. This role blends executive storytelling with hands on engineering leadership to shape how large enterprises govern and optimize cloud spend.
What You'll Do10
- 1Lead multi cloud FinOps programs and scale agentic AI components across client portfolios
- 2Define architecture for agentic AI in FinOps including event driven agents and broker patterns
- 3Stand up reusable data ingestion, normalization, decisioning, and action orchestration pipelines
- 4Publish SDKs and templates so delivery squads snap in FinOps automations
- 5Implement policy as code and IaC modules to enforce FinOps standards
- 6Embed RBAC and security controls in agentic workflows and IaC
- 7Define KPIs and dashboards for realized savings and forecast accuracy
- 8Contribute to offerings, SOWs, and solution architectures for agentic FinOps programs
- 9Guide teams to align engineering, finance, security, and procurement goals
- 10Travel as required to client sites and engagements
Requirements5
- 1Minimum of 12 years of experience in cloud/platform engineering, data/AI, or SRE
- 2Minimum of 5 years of experience driving FinOps automation at scale
- 3Minimum of 4 years of experience leading multi-workstream, multi cloud programs at enterprise level
- 4Minimum 1 year of experience with Agentic AI frameworks and MCP integration and Python/TypeScript/Go
- 5Bachelor's degree in CS, Engineering, IT, Data or equivalent work experience
