Overview
Senior full-stack engineer leads technical direction for Discovery pod at Speak. Set architecture across web acquisition and purchase journey. Build full-stack web journeys for individuals and small teams. Partner with adjacent pods to define scope and deliver end-to-end outcomes.
What You'll Do11
- 1Design and build full-stack web journeys that help individuals and small teams find, evaluate, purchase, and start using Speak
- 2Lead cross-repository integrations across authentication payments entitlements analytics attribution CRM and admin experiences
- 3Partner with product design analytics marketing sales and adjacent engineering pods to define scope sequence dependencies and deliver end-to-end outcomes
- 4Set enterprise-ready quality bar for privacy security payment correctness observability performance and resilient rollouts
- 5Evolve architecture and development patterns incrementally while protecting conversion and revenue across high-traffic global funnels
- 6Help pod operate AI-natively by reviewing plans and designs before implementation creating strong QA and verification loops and enabling AI-assisted contributors to ship safely
- 7Mentor engineers and raise team’s bar for technical judgment communication and ownership
- 8Translate growth or B2B objectives into pragmatic scope measurable outcomes and durable technical foundations
- 9Balance building the right way with shipping quickly learning from real usage and improving systems incrementally
- 10Review plans and designs before implementation create verification loops and enable AI-assisted development
- 11Maintain high production-quality standards with thoughtful verification
Requirements11
- 16+ years experience building high-quality production-scale web applications with strong proficiency in TypeScript React and Node.js
- 2Track record as technical lead for ambiguous multi-system initiatives while remaining hands-on in architecture and implementation
- 3Experience designing APIs and backend services working with relational data and reasoning about system boundaries
- 4Strong product and business judgment translating growth or B2B objectives into measurable outcomes
- 5Ability to build reliable transactional or stateful workflows with focus on data integrity idempotency observability and safe rollouts
- 6Excellent cross-functional communication and mentorship mindset
- 7Concrete experience with Next.js Postgres data modeling
- 8Familiarity with web payments subscription billing invoicing entitlements
- 9Knowledge of identity and access management B2B account models roles or provisioning
- 10Experience with analytics attribution experimentation CRM or marketing technology integrations
- 11Background in internationalized web products or consumer and B2B SaaS surfaces
