Fulfillment Center Lead, 3rd Shift Warehouse Operations
Overview
You will lead the 3rd shift Fulfillment Center team, owning daily operations across wholesale, inbound, outbound, returns, inventory control, and kitting at a 10 million square foot national warehouse network. You coordinate with supervisors on Jazz and client-specific SOPs, enforce safety standards, and drive productivity. What You'll Do9
- 1Lead teams in wholesale, inbound, outbound, returns, inventory control, or kitting per Jazz and client-specific SOPs
- 2Ensure accurate put-away of products into reserve and drop zone locations using warehouse management systems
- 3Oversee replenishment of active locations based on system-generated tasks to maintain inventory accuracy
- 4Manage kitting operations including re-labeling, re-working, and product assembly to meet client specs
- 5Monitor and ensure timely processing of returns in accordance with client requirements
- 6Arrive prior to shift start to prepare workload distribution for the team
- 7Train and guide team members in shipping and receiving functions to ensure consistent execution
- 8Enforce company policies, safety protocols, sanitation standards, and ethical guidelines on the floor
- 9Support supervisor in achieving team productivity and goals by tracking metrics and adjusting workflow
Requirements7
- 12+ years of experience in distribution or warehouse operations
- 2Previous lead or supervisory role in a warehouse setting
- 3Proficiency with warehouse management systems and operational SOPs
- 4High school diploma or equivalent
- 5Frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, and reaching
- 6Occasional lifting and carrying of up to 50 lbs
- 7Willingness to work overtime as needed
