Overview
You own safe, timely delivery of fuel oil, diesel, gasoline, and propane to residential and commercial customers across Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Maine. You operate a Class A or B commercial vehicle with hazmat, tanker, and air brake endorsements, backed by a $2,000 sign-on bonus and pay up to $35.00/hour. What You'll Do9
- 1Deliver distillates and propane per dispatch, following DOT and FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols.
- 2Perform return-to-service checks: leak checks and appliance relights for propane, prime and start for oil.
- 3Inspect trucks with pre-trip checks, documenting issues in fleet management software.
- 4Clean and maintain trucks, including interior and exterior, and manage paperwork like hazmat permits and registrations.
- 5Run meter creep tests and emergency shutoff tests for propane.
- 6Collect customer payments and submit accurate reports.
- 7Participate in safety meetings and propose delivery process improvements.
- 8Provide on-site customer service for delivery issues, escalating to the dispatch team.
- 9Handle off-season duties: fleet reconditioning, meter reading, tank setting, and property maintenance.
Requirements10
- 13+ years of petroleum or propane delivery experience preferred.
- 2Valid Commercial Driver's License Class A or B with hazmat, tanker, and air brake endorsements.
- 3Current DOT medical certificate.
- 4Ability to drive a standard-shift transmission.
- 5Pass company drug test, alcohol test, and physical.
- 6Flexible schedule including weekends, overtime, and on-call shifts.
- 7Experience with regulatory agencies: DOT, HazMat, OSHA, FMCSA.
- 8Certifications like CETP delivery modules for propane.
- 9Proficiency with Android tablets and web-based software.
- 10Physical ability to push or pull up to 100 lbs, lift 25 lbs, and perform driver duties.
