Allegion seeks a Frontline Leader (Powder Coating) in Snoqualmie WA to lead production and support quality. This full‑time hourly role offers competitive pay $28‑$32 base hourly with benefits. What You'll Do11
- 1Maintain organized records for powder coat/refinishing department
- 2Assign tasks based on workflow and staffing needs
- 3Assist with surface preparation and coating application per TDS
- 4Operate power and hand tools including applicators and sandblasting equipment
- 5Ensure material flow and inventory accuracy
- 6Conduct daily production, scrap, and rework logging
- 7Troubleshoot equipment issues and develop process improvements
- 8Perform production work at any station as required
- 9Conduct quality audits and enforce safety compliance
- 10Cross‑train associates and enhance workplace morale
- 11Interact with quality auditors and scheduling teams to optimize production flow
Requirements11
- 13+ years manufacturing experience with 2+ years powder coating
- 2Strong leadership and multitasking abilities
- 3Ability to perform all assigned duties and understand department processes
- 4Availability for overtime as needed
- 5Knowledge of pre‑finishing, powder coating, and painting environmental requirements
- 6Effective verbal and written communication skills
- 7Basic math, reading, and computer proficiency
- 8Understanding of safety protocols and PPE requirements
- 9Physical stamina to stand up to 10 hours and lift 50 lbs
- 10Willingness to work in noisy chemical dusty environments
- 11Commitment to safety and a clean work area
