You will own the front office at Desert Foothills Dental, a private, quality-focused practice in Phoenix's Ahwatukee Foothills. You'll manage patient flow, treatment plan presentations, financial arrangements, and insurance workflows, ensuring a smooth patient journey from check-in to check-out. Working alongside a close-knit team of dental professionals, you'll use Open Dental, Flex, and Vyne to handle scheduling, verification, and billing. This role offers a direct leadership track toward Assistant Office Manager, with opportunities for professional growth and equity.

What You'll Do6

  • 1Present comprehensive treatment plans, walk patients through insurance benefits and co-pays, and secure financial commitments.
  • 2Maintain a full and productive doctor and hygiene schedule, welcoming patients and ensuring seamless front-to-back handoffs.
  • 3Utilize Open Dental and Flex to verify insurance coverages, post payments, and manage digital communications.
  • 4Step chairside during clinical bottlenecks, using your X-Ray Certification and Coronal Polish Certificate to assist the team.
  • 5Drive daily practice goals by taking full ownership of your role, managing time effectively, and communicating with honesty and humility.
  • 6Lead by example in morning huddles, starting promptly at 7:20 AM, and model the core values of honesty, humility, hunger, and heart.

Requirements6

  • 12+ years of dental front office or treatment coordinator experience in general dentistry.
  • 2Active Arizona X-Ray Certification and Coronal Polish Certificate (preferred).
  • 3Strong knowledge of dental terminology, insurance coding, and patient billing.
  • 4High proficiency with dental practice management software; Open Dental and Flex experience is a major plus.
  • 5Excellent attendance and punctuality, with a proven track record of reliability.
  • 6Strong emotional intelligence and professional phone demeanor, with a desire to grow into a leadership role.
