What You'll Do10
- 1Greet and welcome guests with warmth and urgency
- 2Guide guests through the menu and recommend confidently
- 3Execute orders accurately on the service line following plating standards
- 4Operate the POS system handling cash and card transactions
- 5Maintain a clean and organized service line and dining room
- 6Monitor dining room cleanliness and restock supplies
- 7Support peak service flow by communicating with teammates
- 8Follow food safety and allergen protocols strictly
- 9Restock front-of-house supplies and complete opening/closing tasks
- 10Arrive on time and uphold FARE’s food quality and hospitality standards
Requirements8
- 1Valid Illinois Food Handler Certificate within 30 days of hire
- 2Solid understanding of food safety principles and allergen awareness
- 3Ability to stand for up to 8+ hours while lifting 30 lbs
- 4Experience with POS systems such as Toast
- 5Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- 6Minimum age of 16 years
- 7Prior experience in fast-casual or hospitality environments
- 8Preference for candidates familiar with nutrition-forward menus
