Overview
Front Desk Agent at Spark by Hilton Matteson will own guest check-ins, checkouts, reservations, and front-desk operations from arrival through departure. You will collaborate with Housekeeping and Maintenance to ensure a seamless guest experience at scale. You’ll work with Hilton frontline systems and a supportive team to deliver consistent service. This role differentiates itself through brand standards adherence, guest recovery, and ongoing training.
What You'll Do10
- 1Build welcoming guest experiences from arrival through departure
- 2Design and process reservations, room assignments, cancellations and modifications to maximize occupancy
- 3Verify guest identification, payment information and reservation details
- 4Process cash and credit-card transactions accurately
- 5Answer calls, respond to guest questions and provide local information
- 6Provide information about hotel services and amenities and respond to guest requests
- 7Communicate room status and guest needs to Housekeeping and Maintenance
- 8Maintain accurate records, shift reports and front-desk documentation
- 9Monitor hotel entrances and report safety or security concerns promptly
- 10Support Hilton Honors members and follow brand procedures
Requirements10
- 1High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 2Strong customer-service and communication skills
- 3Basic computer, email and data-entry skills
- 4Ability to learn hotel systems and procedures
- 5Ability to remain professional and organized in a busy environment
- 6Ability to handle confidential guest and hotel information appropriately
- 7Dependable attendance and punctuality
- 8Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- 9Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays and occasional overnight shifts
- 10Previous front-desk or hospitality experience is a plus
