What You'll Do11
- 1Create a safe nurturing and engaging classroom environment where every child feels valued
- 2Use child development principles to plan and implement developmentally appropriate learning experiences
- 3Manage classroom behavior using positive reinforcement to foster a respectful safe learning environment
- 4Observe and document children progress and communicate with families to support their involvement
- 5Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and child welfare policies
- 6Maintain active supervision ensuring safety and well-being of all children
- 7Keep the classroom clean organized and inviting meeting licensing standards
- 8Collaborate with the director and teaching team to create a positive supportive school culture
- 9Follow all regulations and school policies
- 10Engage in professional development related to childhood development classroom management and curriculum innovation
- 11Model professionalism integrity kindness and a positive attitude
Requirements8
- 1Minimum of 12 Child Development or Early Childhood Education units
- 2Proven classroom experience working with young children in preschool settings
- 3Strong knowledge of childhood development milestones and developmentally appropriate practices
- 4Experience with curriculum development and lesson planning
- 5Excellent communication skills to collaborate with families and colleagues
- 6Current CPR and First Aid Certification or ability to obtain certification before employment
- 7Demonstrated ability to manage a classroom efficiently while fostering an engaging learning environment
- 8Passion for early childhood education with a commitment to nurturing each childs potential
Salary Insight
