What You'll Do11
- 1Perform daily inspections of electric powered forklifts using proper documentation
- 2Support production with stage to stock and stock to stage for packaging materials
- 3Report and correct unsafe conditions via Hazardous Notification and BBS processes
- 4Conduct safety checks for trailer loading and dock locking systems
- 5Maintain procedural compliance for forklift security and departmental tools
- 6Plan and prioritize work assignments with minimal supervision
- 7Fill out documentation for unloading and loading practices
- 8Assist with changeover and startup shutdown processes
- 9Understand regulatory compliance with OSHA and DOT standards
- 10Follow SDS procedures for raw material handling
- 11Maintain warehouse layout knowledge and capacity constraints
Requirements11
- 1High school diploma or equivalent experience
- 21-2 years prior experience in manufacturing or distribution
- 3Proficiency with forklift operations and attachments
- 4Knowledge of OSHA and DOT regulations
- 5Ability to follow SDS guidelines
- 6Strong attention to detail and safety focus
