Forensic Senior Associate, Forensic Accounting & Litigation
Overview
Forensic Senior Associate owns forensic accounting and economic damage analyses for high-stakes litigation and investigations. You will work directly with Managers and Partners to interpret financial records, conduct bank tracing and lost profits analyses, and support expert testimony. Our team handles White Collar Crime, Ownership Disputes, and Marital Dissolution. This hybrid role spans Princeton, New York, Boston, and other East Coast offices. You will gain direct exposure to settlement conferences and hearings, building a path to expert witness.
What You'll Do9
- 1Build detailed document requests and manage evidence collection for litigation engagements.
- 2Summarize financial statements, contracts, and transactional records to support case strategy.
- 3Perform forensic accounting analyses including bank tracing, lost profits calculations, and fraud detection.
- 4Interpret financial data to quantify economic damages and prepare reports for expert testimony.
- 5Debug and validate financial models for accuracy and completeness.
- 6Drive case progress by coordinating with attorneys, clients, and internal teams.
- 7Prepare exhibits and visualizations that clearly communicate complex financial findings.
- 8Attend settlement conferences and hearings to support expert witnesses and partners.
- 9Lead data extraction and analysis using Excel, ACL, or IDEA during investigations.
Requirements7
- 14+ years in public accounting with 2+ years in forensic accounting.
- 2Bachelor's or master's degree in accounting.
- 3Candidate for CPA exam or CPA license.
- 4Strong analytical skills to dissect financial evidence and identify patterns.
- 5Excellent organizational and communication skills for presenting findings to legal teams.
- 6Ability to work independently and collaboratively with all levels of staff.
- 7Prior experience in litigation engagements is a plus.
