What You'll Do14
- 1Operate commercial dish machines
- 2Scrape, soak, scour, and scrub cookware and utensils
- 3Sort, stack, and rack trays for washing
- 4Remove clean trayware and store sanitized dishes, glasses, and silverware
- 5Clean and sanitize pots and pans manually using a three-compartment sink
- 6Clean and sterilize kitchen equipment and work areas
- 7Perform heavy-duty cleaning
- 8Sweep and mop designated areas
- 9Separate food waste, trash, recycling, and compost
- 10Empty waste containers and transport to designated receptacles
- 11Clean delivery carts and food service equipment
- 12Retrieve soiled carts from patient units
- 13Deliver clean carts to designated hospital units
- 14Support overall kitchen and meal service operations
Requirements11
- 1Must be a U.S. citizen
- 2Current Food Handler Certificate from ServSafe or ANAB-accredited program
- 3Subject to background and suitability investigation
- 4Completed physical examination prior to starting
- 5Selected applicants must complete an online onboarding process
- 6Ability to sit stand walk lift squat bend and reach above shoulders
- 7Lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist
- 8Lift up to 20 lbs
- 9Carry up to 40 lbs a reasonable distance
- 10Push/pull with 30 lbs of force
- 11All qualified applicants considered regardless of protected veteran status
