Food Service Supervisor, Aramark Onyx Equities
Overview
You will own daily food service operations at Onyx Equities, coordinating staff and maintaining safety standards. Reporting to the Food Service Director, you'll direct a team of food service workers, manage inventory, and ensure menu compliance. - 1Produce work schedules and prepare production packets with Aramark recipes and production sheets.
- 2Direct daily food service activities to meet menu specifications and safety standards.
- 3Maintain food production quality and safety, ensuring items are stored and served per Aramark policies.
- 4Conduct weekly inventory counts and prepare orders to match demand.
- 5Supervise and evaluate staff, promoting growth, efficiency, and teamwork.
- 6Train and mentor food service workers on procedures and safety.
- 7Log equipment maintenance and complete preventative maintenance checklists.
- 8Fill in for absent employees and support catered events as needed.
- 9Keep communication with staff and management via email, phone, and meetings.
- 10Perform cashier duties and promote positive public relations.
Requirements7
- 11+ year of food service supervision or related experience.
- 2Ability to read, write, and follow verbal instructions in English.
- 3Completion of a sanitation course within the first year of employment.
- 4Knowledge of cost-effective food service operations.
- 5Basic arithmetic skills for inventory and ordering.
- 6Emotional control under stress and conflict resolution skills.
- 7Strong organizational skills for scheduling and record-keeping.
