Overview
As a Food Runner at Atik Restaurant, you own the link between kitchen and service, delivering meals and maintaining table flow in a busy New York City dining room. You work alongside a close-knit crew and report directly to the floor manager. Full-time, year-round employment with a busy restaurant group, offering flexible scheduling and advancement potential.
What You'll Do7
- 1Serve customers their meals and drinks efficiently, ensuring accurate delivery to the right table.
- 2Communicate food orders clearly to kitchen staff, prioritizing accuracy and timing.
- 3Refill drinks throughout the meal to keep guests satisfied.
- 4Wipe down tables, chairs, and other surfaces after each seating.
- 5Remove tablecloths and reset tables for the next guests.
- 6Clear dirty dishes, glasses, and silverware from tables promptly.
- 7Adhere to all health and safety rules and regulations, including food safety guidelines.
Requirements5
- 11+ year experience as a busser, barback, food runner, or similar position preferred.
- 2Familiarity with food safety guidelines and sanitation standards.
- 3Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 pounds.
- 4Friendly and outgoing personality with a customer-first attitude.
- 5Availability to work evening and weekend shifts.
