Overview
We are looking for an energetic and attentive Food Runner to join our hospitality team in New York. You will serve as the vital link between the kitchen and guests ensuring timely accurate food delivery with a smile. What You'll Do7
- 1Safely transport food from the kitchen to guests’ tables using proper manual handling and safe lifting practices
- 2Ensure food orders are accurate and complete before delivery checking for special requests or dietary needs
- 3Assist with cleaning and bussing tables to maintain a tidy dining area and support overall restaurant cleanliness
- 4Support kitchen staff with food preparation tasks as needed including basic food handling and prep assistance
- 5Communicate effectively with servers kitchen staff and guests to coordinate timely service
- 6Handle heavy lifting of food trays or equipment safely and efficiently during busy service periods
- 7Use POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process orders or assist with guest transactions when required
Requirements5
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 23-5 seasons leading food service teams
- 3Certified in CPC Card
- 45+ years working with POS systems like Aloha POS
- 5Knowledgeable about food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
