Food Runner, FOH Hospitality & Guest Experience
Overview
This role supports the dining experience by delivering dishes promptly and accurately, acting as the link between kitchen and guests. You will handle plate presentation, communicate clearly about orders and modifications, and uphold KUZA’s hospitality standards. Work with the expo and kitchen teams to maintain flow and sanitation in a fast-paced environment. This contract position offers training, development, and opportunities for advancement.
What You'll Do9
- 1Deliver food from kitchen to guests with efficiency and urgency
- 2Confirm order accuracy and knowledge of dish components before delivery
- 3Present dishes with confidence and clear communication
- 4Communicate guest allergies and modifications to the team
- 5Maintain cleanliness in expo and kitchen pass areas and coordinate ticket flow
- 6Assist in resetting tables and supporting bussers and servers during busy shifts
- 7Maintain knowledge of menu ingredients and allergens
- 8Anticipate guest and team needs and stay proactive
- 9Uphold safety and sanitation standards during service
Requirements5
- 1Previous food runner or support experience preferred
- 2Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- 3Ability to learn menu details quickly and communicate them clearly
- 4Must be able to lift and carry trays and move swiftly in a high-paced setting
- 5Current Arizona Food Handler’s Card or ability to obtain one
