Lead a hybrid role at a vibrant Denver hotel that blends dining, bar, and room service into a seamless guest experience. What You'll Do10
- 1Build guest relationships through attentive service and menu knowledge while maintaining standards across restaurant, bar, and room service
- 2Lead shift operations as Manager-on-Duty, ensuring pacing, cleanliness, and safety across all FOH areas
- 3Drive guest recovery and issue resolution with authorization for comp/voids to turn challenges into positive outcomes
- 4Own checklists, cash handling, end-of-day reconciliation, and shift notes to support smooth transitions between shifts
- 5Scale team performance through pre-shift huddles, coaching, onboarding new members, and reinforcing SOPs
- 6Ship inventory and purchasing support, including counts, par levels, receiving, and organization of supplies
- 7Coordinate with Front Office, Culinary, Engineering, and Housekeeping to maintain seamless operations
- 8Assist with scheduling inputs, labor awareness, and workload balancing as directed by the Restaurant Manager
- 9Maintain professional appearance and service culture, modeling Crescent values
- 10Ensure health, sanitation, and safety compliance including temperature logs and compliance checks
Requirements10
- 1Prior restaurant serving experience required; lead/supervisory experience strongly preferred
- 2Strong knowledge of service standards, guest recovery best practices, and responsible alcohol service
- 3Comfortable operating POS systems and handling basic cash close procedures
- 4ServSafe/Food Handler and responsible alcohol service certification or ability to obtain
- 5Meets legal age requirements to serve alcohol in Colorado and compliance with state/local regulations
- 6Self-starter with calm disposition in a fast-paced environment
- 7Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills
- 8Team-first mindset and willingness to pitch in across roles to support operations
- 9Able to stand for prolonged periods and lift up to 30 lbs
- 10Flexible availability including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
