Overview
You will deliver food and beverages to Guests in a dine-in cinema, owning the speed and accuracy of every order from kitchen to table. You will join a hospitality team that serves Dallas, Texas and keeps the theater running smoothly across 6-9 hour shifts. This role stands out because you'll balance movie magic with real service, mastering sanitation protocols and earning tips on top of hourly pay.
What You'll Do8
- 1Greet Guests with a welcoming tone and maintain a courteous demeanor throughout every interaction.
- 2Retrieve orders from the kitchen, verify accuracy against tickets, and deliver items to Guests in 5 minutes or less.
- 3Navigate stairs frequently to carry food and beverages, ensuring hot items stay hot and cold items stay cold.
- 4Clear tables and deliver checks, keeping the dining area clean and inviting for the next Guests.
- 5Set up your station before each shift and restock supplies like napkins, utensils, and condiments.
- 6Adhere to sanitation standards and report spills or hazards immediately to the shift lead.
- 7Handle multiple tables during peak times, prioritizing orders to balance speed and service.
- 8Support teammates by running food for other servers when your section is quiet.
Requirements8
- 116+ years old with a valid Food Handler Certification.
- 26+ months in a restaurant or hospitality role, but we will train the right person.
- 3Carry 50 lbs trays up and down stairs without assistance.
- 4Stand and walk for 6-9 hours per shift, including frequent bending, kneeling, and reaching.
- 5Communicate clearly in English (verbal or written) to take orders and coordinate with kitchen staff.
- 6Work nights, weekends, and holidays, including Thanksgiving and Christmas.
- 7Show up with reliable transportation and proper work attire.
- 8Maintain personal hygiene and follow the dress code, including non-slip shoes.
