Overview
Floor Nurse at Hickory Recovery provides addiction and behavioral health services. LPN/RN performs assessments and creates care plans under Director of Nursing. Offers personalized care for adult patients. Provides high-quality mental health support.
What You'll Do11
- 1Conduct nursing assessments on admission and ongoing basis
- 2Perform intake assessments and evaluate medical needs
- 3Administer medications using two identifiers
- 4Document medication administration and report errors
- 5Perform point-of-care tests including urinalysis and pregnancy screens
- 6Manage tuberculosis screening and glucose monitoring
- 7Execute Tuberculin PPD testing
- 8Lead patient care plans based on physician orders
- 9Maintain infection control protocols and PPE usage
- 10Report safety hazards and near misses to supervisor
- 11Assess and document suicide risks
Requirements9
- 1Valid LPN or RN license from accredited school
- 2Prior hospital and behavioral health experience
- 3Certified BLS provider obtained within one month of hire
- 4Ability to maintain client confidentiality and HIPAA compliance
- 5Strong interpersonal communication and professional attitude
- 6Excellent computer literacy and EMR proficiency
- 7Knowledge of behavioral medicine treatment best practices
- 8Sound clinical judgment and decision-making skills
- 9Understanding of client needs and requirements
Salary Insight
$60 - $69k per year
