Overview
Own fleet operations for a regional construction portfolio at scale ensuring uptime and regulatory compliance. Lead maintenance planning, utilization analysis, and safety programs in partnership with regional yards. Drive cost efficiency and asset longevity through data-driven tools and supplier coordination.
What You'll Do10
- 1Build and optimize fleet utilization across regions to meet project needs
- 2Design and deploy a fleet maintenance toolset to minimize downtime and document services
- 3Monitor utilization, downtime, and fuel efficiency and develop regional improvement plans
- 4Coordinate vehicle assignments and driver monitoring with regional teams
- 5Ensure regulatory compliance for vehicles and equipment including licenses and MVR
- 6Lead safety training programs with L&D and risk teams for drivers and operators
- 7Coordinate with vendors for parts, purchasing, and new equipment
- 8Review vendor invoices for accuracy and support payment decisions
- 9Address incidents and provide vehicle rental options as needed
- 10Collaborate with regulatory agencies on compliance and reporting
Requirements5
- 15+ years of experience in fleet management in construction or infrastructure
- 2Strong understanding of fleet operations and maintenance best practices
- 3Proven ability to manage regulatory compliance and documentation processes
- 4Excellent organizational and analytical skills with problem-solving ability
- 5Effective communication and leadership skills
