What You'll Do8
- 1Troubleshoot Fire Alarm systems to diagnose and repair ground faults, open circuits, and short circuits on addressable and conventional systems.
- 2Perform scheduled maintenance on Fire Alarm panels, detectors, and notification devices to keep systems in top condition.
- 3Read and interpret diagrams, blueprints, and specifications to guide service work.
- 4Interact with customers to explain system functionality and provide training on proper use.
- 5Document all service activity with precision using software tools and mobile apps.
- 6Follow all safety regulations and company policies, including NEC and NFPA standards.
- 7Respond to emergency service calls with a sense of urgency and clear communication.
- 8Support team members with technical expertise and share knowledge on best practices.
Requirements9
- 12+ years servicing commercial Fire Alarm systems.
- 2Hands-on troubleshooting of addressable and conventional systems, including ground faults and open circuits.
- 3Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
- 4Experience using electronic testing devices such as multimeters and voltage testers.
- 5Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- 6Must pass drug and background screenings.
- 7Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- 8Able to meet state licensing requirements and pursue vendor certifications.
- 9Physical ability to lift 50 lbs, push/pull 75 lbs, and climb 12-foot ladders.
