Overview
You will own the financial execution for the AFLCMC/ES Force Protection Division, managing $100M+ budgets from formulation through closeout. Reporting to the Division Chief, you will collaborate with program managers, contracting officers, and DoD leadership on EVM, BER, and IBR cycles. This hybrid role (2 days on-site at Hanscom AFB) puts you at the center of acquisition decision-making, with direct impact on fielded warfighter systems. You will automate reporting using FM Suite, CRIS, and CCaRS, cutting manual effort by 30% in the first quarter.
What You'll Do8
- 1Prepare and defend program budgets for AFLCMC/ES portfolio, aligning with DoD fiscal calendars.
- 2Own EVM assessments and variance analysis, delivering forecasts to senior leadership each month.
- 3Reconcile CCaRS and CRIS data, correcting posting errors and maintaining audit trails.
- 4Generate MIPRs, Purchase Requests, and Project Orders, ensuring compliance with DFAS regulations.
- 5Compile division-level financial packages for BER, IBR, PMR, and MAR reviews.
- 6Run quick-turnaround funding drills for exercises, assessing financial readiness under pressure.
- 7Monitor reimbursable programs, tracking obligations and expenditures against FMS agreements.
- 8Draft POM inputs and acquisition documentation, shaping multi-year budget requests.
Requirements8
- 112+ years in defense financial management, including FMS experience.
- 2Active Secret clearance and U.S. citizenship.
- 3Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
- 4Expertise with CCaRS, CRIS, WAWF, and FM Suite.
- 5Strong knowledge of DoD acquisition and budgeting processes.
- 6Proven ability to brief DoD leadership on financial insights.
- 7Experience with EVM and earned value management reporting.
- 8Ability to meet short deadlines and adapt to changing priorities.
