Financial Analyst Capital Markets
Overview
The Capital Markets Financial Analyst (CMFA) supports transactions across multiple product types. Responsibilities include performing financial analysis pricing Excel valuation model creation auditing lease abstractions due diligence collection and review market data gathering and translating findings into high-level summaries under senior member oversight. Ideal candidates are based in San Francisco CA available for onsite work and occasional off-hours travel. This role leverages AI tools to enhance efficiency and quality.
What You'll Do10
- 1Support execution of financial analysis and valuation modeling requests
- 2Prepare pro forma statements discounted cash flow analyses and Excel-based financial models considering historical and current market conditions
- 3Audit existing financial models for data input accuracy and cash flow pricing assumption validity
- 4Review leases abstract key economic and non-economic data points identifying term gaps or concerns
- 5Conduct market research analyzing property and market conditions synthesizing findings concisely
- 6Develop high-level analysis summaries highlighting transaction strengths weaknesses trends and outliers
- 7Identify missing information or unclear requests coordinating additional data collection
- 8Review analysis deliverables with senior team members leading revisions to address clarifying questions
- 9Participate in knowledge sharing documenting processes training materials and disseminating tools templates and best practices
- 10Embrace AI tools and emerging technologies to improve workflow efficiency accuracy and quality
Requirements6
- 1Bachelor’s Degree preferred combination of education and 1-2 years financial analysis modeling experience capital markets or industrial background
- 2Certification in Argus Enterprise a plus experience with CoStar and other market research tools
- 3Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite
- 4Analytical skills with high attention to detail ability to produce accurate work meet deadlines and exceed stakeholder expectations
- 5Effective writing skills for marketing deliverables a plus growth-oriented mindset and knowledge sharing attitude
