What You'll Do9
- 1Perform testing inspection maintenance troubleshooting repair of electrical power distribution equipment
- 2Travel to customer facilities throughout Nashville region and surrounding areas
- 3Work with low medium and high voltage electrical systems and equipment
- 4Support testing and maintenance activities on circuit breakers transformers switchgear motors current transformers potential transformers capacitive coupled voltage transformers grounding systems and related equipment
- 5Utilize advanced testing equipment including megger testers ductor testers hi-pot equipment power factor testing instruments ct ratio and saturation testing equipment reading and interpreting electrical schematics wiring diagrams technical manuals and engineering documentation
- 6Accurately document test results repairs maintenance activities and field observations
- 7Participate in safety meetings and maintain strict adherence to industry and company safety standards
- 8Build professional relationships with customers and represent the company with exceptional service
- 9Expand technical skills through ongoing training and progression toward advanced NETA certifications
Requirements8
- 12+ years of experience in electrical power systems utilities industrial maintenance electrical contracting or related field
- 2Hands-on experience working with electrical equipment and power distribution systems
- 3Experience supporting electrical testing commissioning maintenance or troubleshooting activities
- 4Ability to interpret electrical drawings schematics manuals and technical documentation
- 5Strong commitment to workplace safety and electrical safe work practices
- 6Ability and willingness to work in a field environment approximately 95% of the time
- 7Flexibility to travel locally and regionally and work occasional overtime
- 8NETA certification or equivalent experience aligned with NETA testing standards and practices
