Overview
Quality Conveyor Solutions (QCS) seeks Field Splice Technician at Charlotte NC. This travel intensive position requires 50%+ onsite work including overnight stays. Responsible for maintaining operational continuity through expert belt splicing and installation.
What You'll Do9
- 1Perform vulcanized and mechanical conveyor belt splicing in field environments
- 2Set up and operate vulcanizing presses splicing tools and conveyor maintenance equipment
- 3Prepare belts using finger splicing step splicing and lap splicing techniques across various widths
- 4Execute conveyor belt installation repair and preventative maintenance
- 5Isolate and prepare conveyor systems for service
- 6Complete job documentation time sheets service reports and expenses
- 7Provide on-site technical support and customer service
- 8Interact professionally with customers on-site
- 9Work independently or lead small crews when needed
Requirements5
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 23-5 seasons of experience in conveyor belt splicing vulcanizing
- 3Valid driver’s license required upon hire
- 4Ability to pass background check and drug testing
- 5Strong communication and professionalism with customers and teams
