Field Service Technician - Generator Division - Orlando ACF Inc
Overview
Shift First Shift Monday through Friday Service Technicians perform shop and field repairs on diesel and gas generators across four counties. Support Martin Saint Lucie Indian River and Brevard Counties. Candidates may receive signing bonus based on skill level and certifications.
What You'll Do11
- 1Build ship and scale generator solutions using Spark and Airflow
- 2Design and lead preventative maintenance programs for generators
- 3Diagnose and debug mechanical electrical issues using schematics and manuals
- 4Drive company vehicle to job sites and return overnight
- 5Operate welding tools winch pulley hoist and pallet jack
- 6Tow trailers portable generators or load banks using company vehicle #zr
- 7Perform basic math calculations and lift objects up to 100 lbs
- 8Report faulty operations and unusual situations to service manager
- 9Maintain clean shop work areas and company vehicles
- 10Follow NFPA 70E safety protocols and use PPE
- 11Work in non-climate controlled environments including extreme heat and humidity
Requirements5
- 1High School diploma or GED with 5-7 years related experience
- 2Motor Vehicle Record in good standing
- 3Experience with Generac Caterpillar Cummins Kohler Aksa Blue Star Taylor generators
- 45+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 5Strong mechanical and electrical skills for generator repair
