Overview
Own field compliance and supervision for electrical projects across Washington State from a 100% onsite base in Seattle, WA 98141. This contract role, paying $50-55/hr on W2 for 12 months, anchors regulatory adherence and quality oversight in a field-based environment. What You'll Do8
- 1Enforce Low Voltage Certification compliance on every assigned field project in Washington State.
- 2Validate electrical training records to confirm all personnel hold current and correct Low Voltage Certifications.
- 3Audit field work against state electrical codes and project specifications, documenting non-conformances.
- 4Coordinate with project managers to schedule compliance checks and align on regulatory updates.
- 5Conduct onsite inspections of low voltage installations, ensuring NEC and local code adherence.
- 6Provide technical guidance to field crews on certification requirements and compliance best practices.
- 7Maintain compliance logs and generate weekly reports for senior management.
- 8Collaborate with training coordinators to identify and remedy certification gaps.
Requirements7
- 15+ years of field experience in low voltage electrical systems and installations.
- 2Valid Low Voltage Certification from the State of Washington or ability to obtain within 30 days of start.
- 3Strong knowledge of NEC (National Electrical Code) and Washington State electrical regulations.
- 4Proven experience in compliance audits, quality inspections, or similar oversight roles.
- 5Ability to pass a background check and drug screening as required for field assignments.
- 6Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel to job sites within the Seattle area.
- 7Excellent documentation and reporting skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
