What You'll Do8
- 1Manage daily field activities to support patient access in key neurology centers and provider offices.
- 2Execute collaborative territory plan with internal and external stakeholders including HUB services, sales, and market access.
- 3Interact frequently in the field (60-70% of time) with key stakeholders across multiple sites of care.
- 4Educate healthcare provider staff on approved patient access services as a subject matter expert.
- 5Review payer policies such as prior authorization requirements and educate offices on coverage.
- 6Review patient-specific cases when sites request assistance in resolving coverage challenges.
- 7Provide feedback to internal teams on local payer trends and access issues.
- 8Perform other duties as required.
Requirements10
- 1Bachelor's degree required.
- 25+ years in pharmaceutical industry with payer policy and reimbursement experience.
- 33+ years in benefit verifications and prior-authorization requirements, or equivalent patient access, billing, and coding experience; rare disease preferred.
- 4Knowledge of CMS policies and processes with experience in Medicare Part D.
- 5Self-direction with strong organizational skills.
- 6Outstanding interpersonal and consultative skills with customer orientation.
- 7Strong oral, written, and presentation communication skills.
- 8Proficient in MS Office.
- 9Ability to travel 60-70% domestically.
- 10Valid driver's license to drive to healthcare provider sites.
