Field Operations Technician, Live Plants & Labor Support
Overview
Own on site field operations for interior plantscape installations across commercial spaces in New York. You will assist with installations of plants, green walls, and holiday decor and manage weekly deliveries and vendor pickups. Expect hands on warehouse work, occasional power tool usage, and heavy lifting. Must be able to climb ladders and operate scissor lifts when needed. This role stands out for its seasonal schedule and emphasis on precision in outdoor/indoor plant installations.
What You'll Do10
- 1Build and install interior plants and green walls in commercial spaces ensuring aesthetic standards
- 2Deliver and pickup supplies from vendors on a weekly cadence
- 3Operate in warehouse environments and perform labor intensive tasks including use of power tools
- 4Climb ladders and operate scissor lifts as required for installations
- 5Assist with holiday decor installations and seasonal rotations within defined timeframes
- 6Support carpentry tasks with basic saws, drills, hammers and precise measuring
- 7Prepare projects for site readiness and maintain professional site conduct
- 8Collaborate with project teams to adapt to changing daily tasks
- 9Maintain organization and safety during all field operations
- 10Participate in weekend and extended scheduling during peak holiday periods
Requirements10
- 1High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2Valid Driver's License and clean driving history
- 3Reliable vehicle for daily commuting
- 41 year construction/handyman related experience (Required)
- 5Ability to lift and move heavy materials and operate power tools
- 6Comfort with climbing ladders and using scissor lifts
- 7Willingness to work Monday through Friday 8am-4pm with occasional Saturdays and weekends during peak seasons
- 8Real ID or US Passport for identification (Required)
- 9Criminal background acceptable by company policy and professional conduct in office and field settings
- 10Basic carpentry skills including use of saws, drills, hammers, and measuring accurately
