F&B Supervisor, Family Entertainment Center
Overview
You will lead daily operations at Cheeky Monkeys Fairview, a family entertainment center in Dallas, Texas. You will own the cafe and front-of-house experience, manage a team of 5-10 staff, and ensure every guest from ages 10 months to 8 years leaves with a smile. Reporting to the General Manager, you will balance operational oversight with hands-on guest interaction, driving sales and safety in equal measure. This role stands out for its focus on playful guest engagement, plus structured management training for advancement.
What You'll Do8
- 1Direct daily store operations, coordinating staff shifts and workflow across the cafe and play areas.
- 2Lead team huddles, set performance targets, and coach staff on POS systems and service standards.
- 3Run interactive games, songs, and activities for children, modeling high-energy guest engagement.
- 4Manage inventory levels for food, beverages, and retail, placing orders to minimize waste and stockouts.
- 5Resolve guest issues on the spot, turning complaints into repeat visits with genuine care.
- 6Balance daily cash, process POS transactions, and reconcile end-of-day reports for accurate bookkeeping.
- 7Execute local marketing campaigns, including social media promotions and birthday party packages.
- 8Enforce safety protocols and health code compliance, conducting regular walkthroughs and staff training.
Requirements7
- 12+ years supervisory experience in retail or entertainment environments.
- 2Hands-on proficiency with POS systems, inventory software, and payroll processing.
- 3Strong verbal communication in English; bilingual in Spanish a plus.
- 4Math skills for retail math and cash reconciliation, with a track record of accuracy.
- 5Organizational ability to prioritize tasks and manage time during peak rushes.
- 6Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stand for up to 8 hours per shift.
- 7Availability to work weekends and holidays, as this is a family entertainment venue.
